Get Sponsored Skateboarding

We have formed an alliance with hundreds of skateoard manufacturers all over the country and they expect to receive information from us on a regular basis about who the up and coming next great skater may be.

Now don’t get it confused, Sponsors are not always looking for the best skaters. Sponsors are ALWAYS looking for skaters who look the best and can represent their product in a way that will make other skaters want to buy it. That is the plain and simple truth about how getting sponsored really works.

Now some of the things you can do to help yourself to become sponsored is:

1.Make videos that are short about 1 minute in length total
2.Start out with a really good or cool trick right up front in the video
3.Always include a bail in your video. C’mon everbody falls and we all know that!
4.Let us distribute your videos for you. Many manufacturers already come to us!

A lot of people get sponsored from videos but more people get sponsored when the sponsors actually see you skating or their scouts see you skating in a skate park.

It is good to skate in your neighborhood but it is very unlikely that a sponsor rep is going to be driving down your block and happen to see you and decide to sign you up.

Ultimately, the best way to get sponsored is to always be in the faces of those who actually do the sponsoring.

And the only way to do that effectively is to have your videos distributed to the major manufacturers and companies that actually do the sponsoring.

As a matter of a fact, a manufactrer may look at your video and pass on it but send it to another company that they think you might be good for.
