This site talks about how skateboarding became popular, where to buy the gear you need, what kind of skateboard you should get, how to customize, how to maintain them, advice for beginners, clothes to wear, building a ramp, and even the design.
This website can only give you the must-know knowledge but if you want to learn to skateboard, you must find an expert to teach you personally. Before you can start this sport, you must first buy your own skateboard deck. It’s important to have your own because it is based on your body size and will determine how well you’ll be able to control it.
If you want to do more tricks, choose a smaller deck and more curved nose and tail but before doing so, you must use the deck for beginners. Don’t think too much of the design but rather the structure. Protection is a must so don’t be ashamed to wear a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads that are not used to just protect you from bruises but from breaking bones.
